2019 in Review: Work Report from The Secretariat of EOSC Mainnet
As 2019 drew to a close, the Secretariat of EOSC Mainnet is moving into a new decade with the development of EOSC community. For EOSC community, 2019 is a big year with major reform. In the past year, the Secretariat has gone through 3 general elections, organized 6 BP meetings, and 12 proposals have been passed to promote community development.
In the new year, the Secretariat of EOSC community will continue to contribute to the development of the EOSC mainnet and jointly promote the development of the EOSC mainnet towards a decentralized, high-performance smart contract platform.

January 7, 2019
● Organized the 9th EOSC Mainnet BP Meeting. BPs voted JiqiX’s EOSForce Mainnet Token Production Adjustment Proposal through, which got 16 fors, 1 nays, 6 abstains, reaching passage at a 2/3 overmajority. The proposal was passed.
January 15, 2019
● Organized the muti-sig to implement FIP#4 A Proposal to Reduct EOSForce Mainnet Block Reward.
January 24, 2019
● Organized EOSC Community Governance Discussion. Nodes at home and abroad and community members discuss community governance together.
February 28, 2019
● Organized the 10th BP Meeting of EOSForce Mainnet. The Secretariat summarized and reported the work of the 2nd session of the Secretariat, and BPs discussed and voted on the FIP#6 Secretariat Salary Proposal and No Redemption Period for Changing Vote Proposal.
April 10, 2019
● Sky.eosc Node initiated the discussion on the Proposal to Destroy Tokens in Unactivated EOSForce Genesis Accounts.
April 22, 2019
● The 3rd session of the Secretariat of EOSForce Mainnet held a community governance discussion on new governance proposals.
July 1, 2019
● Organized the nodes to upgrade the EOSC mainnet system contract and expanded the mainnet resource model.
July 10, 2019
● Jeepool BP, Jiuzhou Capital and the Development Team jointly initiated EOSFORCE Mainnet Improvement Proposal V1.0, which involves inflation rate adjustment, voting weight adjustment, block-producing reward, punishment mechanism, decentralized budget system and referendum system.
July 18, 2019
● At the 11th EOSForce Mainnet BP Meeting, BPs have voted to pass the EOSForce Mainnet Improvement Proposal jointly proposed by Jeepool Node, Jiuzhou Capital and Core Team. The proposal involves inflation adjustment, voting weight adjustment, block-producing reward and punishment mechanism. The proposal was reaching passage at a 2/3 overmajority and passed.
August 3, 2019
● JiqiX Node initiated A Proposal to Adjust The Upper Limit of EOSC Mainnet Contract Deployment.
August 10, 2019
● EOSC Mainnet Contract Size Adjustment Proposal proposed by JiqiX has been approved by the multisig of more than 2/3 of the BPs.
August 13, 2019
● Sky.eosc Node and Awake Node initiated A Proposal to Destroy the Unactivated Genesis Accounts and Tokens. It is proposed to destroy 80% locked genesis accounts and their tokens, 20% unactivated genesis accounts and tokens of Unactivated Genesis Account LockupPlan Proposal FIP#3.
August 21, 2019
● The 12th EOSC Mainnet BP Meeting was held successfully. BPs voted to pass A Proposal to Destroy the Unactivated Genesis Accounts and Tokens and A Proposal to Adjust the Allocation Plan of B1 Account Tokens.
● The term of EOSC Mainnet BP Meeting Secretariat has been changed successfully. Tokenview, sky.eosc, eosou.io and Captain Force will serve as members of the 4th Secretariat.
August 29, 2019
● EOSC Mainnet held the 13th BP Meeting to discuss the problems on the development of FIP#9 Destruction Proposal and the new proposal.
September 2, 2019
● The 4th session of the Secretariat issued a notice of amendments to FIP # 9.
September 19, 2019
● The upgrade of EOSC mainnet v1.7.1 has been completed, and all the functions in FIP#7 Mainnet Improvement Proposal have been launched, including inflation rate adjustment, fixed voting, block reward, punishment mechanism and decentralized budget system.
September 27, 2019
● EOSC mainnet nodes have completed the multi-sig for the Proposal to Adjust RAM Rental Price proposed by eosawake and sky.eosc, which has officially taken effective on September 26, 2019 (UTC+8). The current price of RAM on EOSC mainnet is to deposit 2 EOSC to get 1KB of RAM.
October 10, 2019
● The freezing execution of unactivated account balance has been completed. The unactivated account balance is not able to vote or transfer. FIP#11 officially takes effect.
October 11, 2019
● Organized the 14th EOSC Mainnet BP Meeting. Membership of the 1st session of Management Committee of Budget System was elected. BPs voted to pass FIP#13 A Proposal to Complete Node Information and Adjust Node Punishment Rule and FIP#14 A Proposal to Adjust Block Missing Fault Tolerance Value.
November 26, 2019
● The fifth phase of EOSC community theme sharing event was successfully held. The community member Jichanglulu made a sharing of “EOSC Empowers the Real Economy”.
December 2, 2019
● The Secretariat of EOSC Maine BP Meeting released Statute of The Secretariat of EOSC Maine BP Meeting to coordinate opinions on community governance, promote the effectiveness of the governance proposals on the chain, and maintain the consensus of EOSFORCE mainnet.
