BPs’ Multi-Sig Approved FIP#17, The Publicity Period of EOSC Budget System Was Adjusted to 7 Days
On March 3rd, 2020(UTC+8), A Proposal to Adjust The Publicity Period of Budget System proposed by the 1st Budgeting Committee was approved by the multi-sig of the BPs, and it officially took effect at the block height of 17547832. With this proposal, the publicity period of the decentralized budget system is shortened from 14 days to 7 days. The effectiveness of FIP#17 signifies that after the community being approved by the Budgeting Committee, the withdrawal proposal can be initiated after the 7-day publicity. In this case, the whole cycle of the budget proposal was shortened reasonably, which effectively improved the operating efficiency of the budget system.
