Blockchain technology is called as the “fourth Industrial Revolution” after steam engine, electric power and the Internet. It leads innovations from the application level of mobile Internet, big data and cloud computing to the technological level. It is truly a total disruptive technology.

Now we have come to the year of 2018, often refered to as the landing year of blockchain applications. As we transition from the concept phase to the application phase in blockchain technology, the development of decentralized application (or DAPPs) is an important criterion for testing whether a public chain has a future prospect.

The current EOSForce (EOSForce.io) mainchain is already supporting smart contract development. The EOSForce community will use the EOSForce public chain to host DAPP developer contests, support more developers to research the EOSForce.io public chain, develop more amazing DAPPs , and promote the EOSIO ecosystem prosperity.

The DAPP Developer Contest is now open for registration. The organizers not only provide pre-contest coaching, but also provide 20,000 USD+ prizes, fund support and mainstream media support for the winners. We welcome blockchain developers to participate.

What is EOSForce Mainnet

EOSForce mainnet is a high-performance blockchain network based on multi-chain hierarchical architecture. The main chain based on EOSIO open source software is launched by EOSForce team on June 22, 2018. EOSForce mainnet assets are distributed fully in accordance with genesis snapshot. EOS token holders can use the mapped private key to sign offline and activate assets of EOSForce.io mainnet.

To provide a more inclusive platform than any previously developed protocol, we will build a layered architecture with a single settlement layer mainchain and multiple computation layer sidechains.

  • The settlement layer mainchain serves main functions of the base currency and support token issuance on the settlement layer, as well as coins on the computation sidechains.
  • The settlement layer will focus on asset accounting and cross-chain interoperability to keep it simple, efficient and secure.
  • The computing layer will work to expand the network technology stack to support multiple underlying blockchain technologies and smart contract, including but not limited to WASM virtual machine-based EOSIO application chains, EVM virtual machine-based Ethereum application chains, IELE virtual machine-based Cardano chain, zero-knowledge proof-based Zcash chain, etc.
