Block.one Does Not Hold A Potentially Controlling Stake Of EOS, CEO Says

Brendan Blumer, CEO at Block.one, claimed on Twitter that Block.one does not hold a potentially controlling stake of EOS tokens.

We have no intention to take over any blockchain. But we won’t allow anyone to freeze innocent people hard earned money even by “consensus”. Anyone’s assets including exchanges assets should be safe!” In a recent article released by Cointelegraph, Justin Sun was accused of “hostile takeover” of Steem blockchain. Also involved in this wave is Binance CEO ZHAO Changpeng, who was suspected to have transferred users’ money for voting.

Binance CEO Apologizes For Binance’s Participating In Steem Vote

Binance CEO ZHAO Changpeng tweeted to apologize on the Steem vote, “STEEM thread. I was hoping not to be involved, but alas, it doesn’t seem to be possible. I did approve the vote from Binance, thinking (wrongly) it was a regular upgrade/fork. For that, I apologize. Guess it is only fair that I get involved until the issue is resolved.”
